What an Affiliate Link Is

An affiliate link is a link to a company’s website that lets that company know the visitor came from Senioridy. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, Senioridy may earn a small commission from the company. You never pay more because you used our link. The price is the same either way.

Where You Will Find Them

Affiliate links appear only in articles about products, such as medical alert systems, mobility aids, bathroom safety equipment, and medication management devices. Every article that contains affiliate links has a notice at the top saying so. Our main guides, including our aging in place guide, do not contain affiliate links.

How This Affects Our Content

It doesn’t change what we write. Senioridy does not recommend, rate, or rank products. Our product articles explain how a type of product works and what to think about when choosing one. We link to the manufacturer or retailer so you can learn more directly from them and decide what fits your situation.

Whether or not a company has an affiliate program has no bearing on whether we mention it. We may link to some companies that pay us a commission and others that don’t.

Our Directory Listings

Senior living communities and care providers can list on Senioridy for free. Some choose a paid Premium listing, which shows additional details such as a phone number, photos, and a fuller description. A Premium listing is displays more information than a Basic Listing, and it appears higher in search results.

Placement Agents listed on Senioridy pay a listing fee. They are independent professionals, not partners of Senioridy.
